Hey guys!
Anyone that had taken apart a zf6... I am guessing there are two "detent plungers" to locate the actual shift shafts so you get that positive "click" when you select a gear. One detent or for and aft and another for to and fro. Where are these located? It looks like one might be behind a big hex plug on passenger side of the trans right on the side of the trans. The other maybe on top of the trans just ahead of where the shifter comes thru the floor. Looking for a confirmation of this. Also is there a spring and ball behind these plugs? I have an idea I am trying to execute however I need to make the trans "gateless" so to speak.

Thanks!
Dylan

Lol watching someone take off in reverse is funny chit....I hadn't though to call Dan.... Excellent idea! I did find the manual online and it looks like there might only be one detent plunger located on the side of the trans behind a big (1.625") hex plug. Gotta get those detents out to shift this damn thing into the 11's haha
