All I can tell you is that it is a single disc billet of some sort.

Page 99 of their catalog lists it as a 2002 5.9L diesel international

Probably an Allison 2000 converter (A2HD should have given that away). Not a whole lot more useful information listed

In their (CVC's) catalog it lists the A2HD as 2002 5.9L International and 01-05 6.6L Diesel. Wish there was more information than that. The "A2" version stall speed is 1900-2100rpm but it is not listed for the A2HD or A2R. I don't want to assume the stall speed is the same (or similar) but I don't feel it would be an outrageous assumption.

Well it shifts smooths and locks smooth. I was on the fence about throwing my spare ml in it but I’m glad i saved it for another truck.

This one will be stock air and fuel forever anyway.

Glad to hear it! Always a fun guessing game of "name that converter" and hoping it works for the best.

I just saw this post. My distributor carries these converters. I have put them in numerous trucks and they work really well. I have them in trucks around 400-450rwhp and customers like them. They are a single disc billet covered converter.

I will say after 10k miles I’m not exactly a fan of this converter. It does what it’s suppsed to, but is a tad loose fir my liking. I end up driving windy hilly two lanes (75% of my driving) in tow haul to keep the converter locked so it’s not just on the converter all the time

It's because it is stock stall and stock coupling.

I thought it felt like stock, or maybe even a little looser. I have the same complaint on stock trucks as well, much less mine with a 35” tire.
