anyone rebuilt their lift pump electric motor?

I apparently have a bad motor according to airdog, when I go WOT the fuel pressure gauge shows 0 depending on how full my tank is my idle pressure is 6-12 6 below half tank 12 above. so after talking with josh at airdog today i am being told the electric motor is bad/going bad. so just curious if anyone here has rebuilt one.

Sounds like a pick up problem to me. No reason for it to be lower psi if you are around half tank. Pick up tube may be cracked.

but to rule out pick up issue run a feed line into a bucket of fuel,,, and brake torque the piss out of it and watch fuel press

I think your about right on the money. Call them and they will send you whatever piece you need. Just FYI in case you guys didnt know the biggest AD you can get from a dealer is a 200. I found out that AD sell's a competition pump that you can't get from a dealer and it's rated at 250gph but it's a special order pump. I called down there and they made mine the same day I called them so I went on ahead and drive on down there and picked it up. Pretty sweet pump to. It doesn't include the lines or fittings so that part is up to you.

If you buy another pump motor from them you will also get the lifetime warranty on that motor. Should run you $219 from air dog for the motor.

I have this pump also. AD2-250GPH. Has been working great sofar!

It's funny cause they tell you it's a "motor" your getting for the 200 some odd dollars but in reality you get the motor and pump assembly....essentially everything but the aluminum distribution block the motor/pump sit on
