the only thing i can find on pro etch, says its used for making (percision crafted photo etched parts) for die cast models using an ink jet and ur computer.:dontknow:

Believe that is where they etch the vin number in all the body parts. I believ that is what it was called on my lbz and it was just them etching the vin on the doors hood tailgate and all body panels that could be ripped off

It also lowers insurance on the car too. I have it on my truck. They asked me if I wanted it and I got suckered into it. Then only to realize it was already on the truck so I could have said "No" and potentially saved a few hundred bucks...
