I've got smoked lenses on my 05 LLY and I can barely see anything at night. Anyone got any tips or know of a good HID kit?uploadfromtaptalk1429583089463.jpg

I bought from ddmtuning along time ago. Cheap, I was actually gonna order a set again from them if there still in business here soon.

They still are, probably one of the better kits I've dealt with..

However I've gave up on hids all together..

I prefer retro solutions for that stuff.

I have 75 (maybe 70w) hids. They are BRIGHT! Projector retrofit soon.

Used the retrofit source to put some in these retrofits, I love them. Had smoked lenses on my 05 that the previous owner did, Idk how anyone could stand them, they look cool but totally make the truck hazardous to drive at night

What projectors did you use for the retrofit and how big are they? I'm looking into the new square ones.

The light is super clear but the cut-off is where they really pay off. Adjusted properly you can light up the road a lot farther in front of you over normal lighting. The cut-off keeps the light out of the mirrors of motorists in front of you, and then the angle of the cut-off keeps oncoming traffic from being blinded as well.
