Thats great... but Im not trying to rig my new $52k truck. Id like to keep my full towing capacity, while installing some lowering shackles. Is anyone here running lowering shackles?

Bell Techs on my Dad's '02 CC Dually, 10,000 lb. trailer, no issues...

Boy.... I like it! Had to raise up the bed to get the old shackle bolts out, but im within .75 of an inch of being level all around!

Looking for that .75... the overload spring is at least that thickness... any ill effects if I remove it from the rear, other than the reduced payload capacity?

Dan what did you do about the spring center bolts? I went to remove my overloads and the damn leaf spring center pin heads are rounded with no slot or anything so I just had to grab them with vise grips and I fawked up the head out of and besides once you remove the overload spring its too short, and of course the dealer doesnt sell that pin. I had to just put a grade 8 bolt thru it for now.... Im thinking Ill just get some universal ones from the auto parts store and cut them down to size.

Heres a pic of it last nite real shitty under a light... I meant to take pics yesterday but it rained al day again. Today!

Finally some day pics... the rain has been killin me and of course ran out of Quik Detailer so its pretty dirty. Im on the hunt for 1 more leaf spring center bolt today that is all threaded so I can cut down to make custom center pins and remove my overload... that should get me down a bit more. I like it :)
