Anyone ever snapped a torsion bar?

I'm working on some new suspension setups and just curious if anyone has ever snapped a torsion bar or knows of one ever snapping.

nope. Never heard of one breaking.

I've heard of it but never seen it. A local guy caims to have seen more than one break plowing snow on gas powered 2500HD trucks. The trucks were used year round in a landscaping business.

i have only seem them snap in chevy half tons
