Anyone ever painted a cp3 body?

Just wondering if anyone had tried painting a cp3. I'd like to paint one and keep the front and back cover machined. If so what did you use and details. Thanks

Engine enamel. Anything that is chemical resistant really.

Mine has held up pretty good I did a few c oats of primer and 3 coats of black.I've scratched it in a couple spots but mostly it's held up very well.I did the a/c and alt as well.

That's sweet man. The Florida state Seminoles came to mind when I saw the paint at first. But I am from Tallahassee.

That's cool....it does look like it now that you say that. That makes me think of John Anderson... gonna have to play that on the juke box now since I'm sitting here at the local bar drinking Budweiser and bloodymarys....

Thank you...we've been jokingly calling it ironmax. Well it'll be on display in the staging lanes while the hood is up to cool it down during passes at the dragstrip. My goal is to pull an 11 with it this season then it will be retired to dd status and I'll be looking for something lighter to run full time next year
