I've had the feeds on aftermarket chargers leak but it never with a return. Flange may be bent, or gasket is bad. I'd pull it off put a new gasket on and retorque it properly after checking for warping or cracks

yes, the not so nice PPE sends with their install kit is leaking where they welded the extension piece in.

ive had that same problem. seems like they use dissimilar metals. had to have my 4088 tube brazed to make it stop leaking.

I made mine out of some sheet gasket material from advanced, then I took some rtv an put a little bit on each side of the gasket rubbed it in with my finger to make sure the entire surface is covered, careful not to glob it on, put it in an torqued it down, Good Luck just trying to help. I feel your pain though.

Not now, my hood is straight up, crap is thrown in my bed, and half my turbo setup is out of the truck.

I got 2 sets of the upper an lower drain gaskets from GM and they wer eliek 2.50 a piece just in case.

Just put the same set-up on mine and used the BD supplied gasket with NO Leaks. It seems to me something must be warped or mis-aligned on yours causing it to leak especially if you used RIGHT STUFF aswell as the gasket:confused: BTW it says on the RIGHT STUFF bottle no set up time is necessary before use;)

Not sure what brought up the PPE drain pipe but its not in his kit.

In the BD kit did you install the
Oil Outlet Block and use 3 gaskets

install data attached

I did not realize the oil drain was different from the LB7 to LLY kit:confused: disregard my post on the extension and hose clamps above:eek:

i had that problem when i put on my 4094, leaked like a bastard retorqued still leaked.. made my own gasket and slightly overtorqued... solved the problem...
if you suspect the drain is leaking remove it and gently go over it with a butane torch and look for hairline cracks. braze or replace if necessary.

well i made my own gasket and yes its got three gaskets and a 3 in block the upper part with the block isnt leaking just were it dumps the oil but..... made my own gasket right stuffed under and on top of the gasket ;) and i did check it for cracks none there think that gasket was just junk and im leaving to sit over night to all set up an dry out and ill re tourqe the nuts before i start it up and take it for a spin

its all good just trying to help:hug: ya lots differneces everywere and how are you liking your bd turbo how much boost you pulling?

Right around 38 or so, but I would like to see it in the 42 range;) still tinkering:) The only reason I choose this turbo was with the intentions of twinning it in the very near future when $$ allows. My opinion so far is, better spool up, slightly lower EGT's while towing/idling,, but still max's out my EGT gauge in the 1/4, and a small SOTP power increase IMO.. Over all I like it, but I would have gone alot bigger if I was going to stay with a single.

i want to twin to thats the same reason i bought it i also get 37-39 want to see 42 also it spikes around 42-43

I thought mine was making mid 40's from looking at my gauge but when I log it it only shows 38 as max:confused: I still have a bit of ajustment on the wastegate to toy with though. How do you like the charger so far?

its got good response slightly cooler in racing and towning still hit 1600 i think i dunno it gets going faster cant sit an watch the guage :thumb: need to put more fuel down low again my gauge shows the spike around 42-43 an holds 38 logs show 38-42 lbs i dunno its a good turbo cleans the 45% overs with a 2200 pw right up what pw you running with your 40%'s
