Question: Anyone drive US 93?

From Vegas to Utah? Need to know if this road would be OK to drive with truck and trailer? or would be better off staying on the 15 going to Salt Lake and back tracking?

No problems with 93, it will work with a trailer. Plenty of big rigs travel that road. I find myself exploring the upper limits of the RPM range on the straight aways...

You know that my wife was like that before we got out hauler and now she sleeps really well there. We went to Utah a couple of weeks ago and had some of the best sleep of our lives, slept in until 9:00 a.m. which never happens.

Speed Week, I so have to go. Never been and wanted to go all my life. Its my birthday right around then too. maybe I'll venture up there for that. Hopefully not in the mustang though, lol.

Well I haven't got to ride/sleep in it yet Now it's a dealer getting all the stuff fixed that should have been done before delivery. But, we wanted Pat to be able to take it last weekend Which worked out to be a good thing as he was able to find more things they need to fix.

in all honesty, i didn't even know why you guys went up there. i thought it was to go ridin. i know you mentioned it a few mos ago at the shop, just not the reason.....

OK last year we took 93 all the way which was very pretty. But, I don't want to take that route again. We went home though Salt Lake since it seems it was an easier route in case something happens.

I was reading on another board that we should have taken 93 to 318 is that gentler route for towing then straight though the 93?

:doh: I think we are going to take this route... It's the route of the Silver State Classic or also Area 51. If I don't like this one either we will go home though Salt Lake again :cool2:
