Made some passes today and the truck felt weak... On the first pass at about half track I would throw a CEL and be down on power and then around the 1000ft mark the truck would sputter. I was holding 26,4xx the entire way minus the lower commanded PSI range 1-3 gears. The only thing I did when putting it back together was delete the stock fuel filter and run 1/2 hose to the pump and FICM??? Weird

Would a P0088 cause this? No fuel was pulled which was shown in the log but on the back half of the run timing was cut from 30-32 to 20-24

What does you timing table look like at the rpm area that the sputtering was happening? Did you see blueish or white smoke when it did this?

Possible hitting one of the timing multiplier tables that's cutting the timing like fuel temp or Intake air temp and a .xx multiplier was cutting the timing.

Time to do some logging lol. I'd be looking at those three that can citing timing and rail pressure but doesn't sound like rail pressure is an issue.

actually IAT and Coolant and fuel temp are the three if I remember right that can mess with timing. I would say IAT at half track could do that if it was getting high enough I set the multiplier tables to 0.00 after 104 and all the way on the fuel temp. might not be the issue for you though.

I probably lied... these tires are a bit taller so im going through the traps at a few hundred RPM lower than before so the timing isn;t really an issue... heres a log

yeah timing is dropping off some but not enough to cause it to sputter in my opinion. guess it could be the FICM. IAT is fine coolant temp is fine just no log of fuel temp but I doubt its an issue.

as soon as the CEL set it ran weak... its weird that the sputter didnt show up on the log though
