What kinda parameters are typical to change on a 5.3? Just wondering we have a suburban but ive never plugged into it.

Is there much to be had from these? Its a slug.

biggest thing your gunna need is a air/fuel ratio gauge, then from what ive been reading its fairly easy to do if you have been in a gas tune before.

I had a guy off DP that was gonna send me a tune for our 5.3 burban, guess he forgot. But I say supercharge it too if your looking for power, I don't think you'll be very happy with the out come of a tune

Im pretty sure I have tune for a 5.3 thats supposed to be stout. Its not for the 07 but you can look it over if you want. Ive never used it for anything but your more than welcome to have it....PM me your email and Ill send it over.

Best thing for those motors is a cam. Throw in a Texas Speed cam and it can still be streetable. Also you can tune in a little more aggression with using the E85 gas but mileage will suffer a tad.

I have been plugging in and "saving" stock tunes on several gassers but I haven't had anything to play with to try and tune it. I have one from an 03 6.0 escalade that has some major balls off the line but being all wheel drive it shuts down about 80 mph:D I drove it and thought it would be a perfect start to my 6.0 firebird project. I also have one for a supercharged 5.3
