Jim Angel at Gary Gruner Chev GMC Buick in Madras. $4,000 cheaper than Lithia, and $3,000 cheaper than that scumbag liar Dick Smith in Kellogg, Idaho, who inflates the dealer invoice. Bought over 50 new cars and trucks in my life (over 40 were GM), and Angel at Gruner was best experience yet. Never went there (50 miles from me), did it all in 2 calls over phone, didn't need a deposit from me (may have been because I gave him the name of the old fleet guy I used at the dealership Obama closed so Lithia could move in), kept me posted, and truck arrived 5.5 weeks after order at $200 over honest legitimate invoice (Dick Smith of Kellogg LIES) with no creepy dealer add on crap - just the state's transfer fee (I used my own 26,000 lb plates off my 07). Great experience, Great Dealer, Super honest country salesman. They are pulling a lot of Lithia's business out of Bend and are killing them. Not all on price (I asked for my deal and got it without him having to check with 101 bosses up the line), but on honesty, integrity, and that personal feel.

I deal with Gary Gruner now too, worlds apart from the scumbags at lithia. Sounds like it was worth the drive :thumb:

TX of course
Lol no kidding

There is a '15 GMC and Chevy sitting at a dealer here in BFE Brady, TX. Thinking about a test drive to kill some free time here this weekend.

Patience...

I'd be fine with waiting if they didn't keep changing the status. It's like they have no clue what's going on they just keep telling me crapp to get me off chat. If its delayed or bayed tell me, don't say it's on the way then retract it....

That's what's pissing me off...;)

They even said they never told me the 16th or 17th. I took that as a personal insult, I guess I just made that up for the hell of it...

Still no truck, I get the run around when I call now. Yesterday morning it was in SC waiting for a delivery truck and this morning it was in Tennessee???

I finally got mad enough to call my buddy who owns the dealer, he is sending a roll back to go retrive it from the depot in SC where he said it has been sitting on a lot for week waiting for the delivery truck. He says he will have it in his pocession tomorrow...

I guess I will see... haha...
