I was the only student in my class that graduated on time. Was a 2 year program, and also had to take gen ed classes to receive associates degree, also received the Goodwrench Leadership Award
Top Tech Diesel Technology thatmore info on what??
However, I no longer work on them for a living, just for pleasure and extra cash. There was not enough money in my area, and I didnt want to move, now I work maintenance in a refinery.
yes it is, but I would much rather be wrenching than what I am doing now, but just wasnt enough money in it. the refinery has excellent benefits and wages, but if it ever goes south wrenching is my back up. I do believe however if I was willing to move, I could have made more money, but alas I didnt want to leave what was familiar:baby:
moving is going to be a big thing when i grad... been gone for ~9 years come back for ~6 months then gone again... market doesnt look tooo good in ohio for the most part
i know... i ain giving up hope thoughDon't feel bad Adam, the market isnt good anywhere. I have spent 2 years in the CAT program and might not have a job when I graduate in 4 weeks. The construction market around here has hit a stand still. I still have a degree from toyota to fall back on as well as the one from CAT, but I think I might continue my education and get a mechanical engineering degree. Try to get a job designing diesels instead of turning wrenches on them
is ohio your "home" (where you grew up)?
