I ride a 14 Summit X 163. I just got a new phone and none of my sled pics transferred. I’ve been searching for an 850 haven’t found the one yet. I mainly ride Island Park, Togwatee, Alpine, and Cooke City. Are you going to turbo your 850?

No I think I’ll keep the ole 8shitty as a mostly stocker, Not that I don’t love the turbo. Just don’t have the time to dial in a new turbo, plus I still have the xm turbo to bomb around when I feel the need to pull chutes.

Up here in northern Canada we have 8 months of winter and some of the best backcountry terrain in the world. Needless to say I’ve been riding sleds all my life. Over the weekend I picked up a new skidonkey for the stable to replace the turbo I have been riding the last couple years.

Ole white chocolate is retired from sled deck duty and stowed away for the winter, she is a cold hearted bitch. But hey who cares race truck :D the 16 is the winter beater now. Few buddies been riding blue river/valemount area, looked like a couple feet but still a little short for my liking.

Whose 1200 is it? That thing probably sounds pretty killer when she’s wound up. Nothing like a rank triple on c-12!!

The 1200 engines are build from polaris triple watercraft engine, with cylinder an piston from old 2003 800 engine, custom crankshaft from power addiction/crankshop. Power addition cyl head with changable domes for diffrent compression.

Ya that’s what I was wondering. Whose build it was. All the big triples I’ve seen all came from PSI Power. Gnarly shit.

How much fuel range do you get on one of those deep snow sleds?

Any of you know of a small company called "38 North Outdoors"? I guess he specializes in those timber sleds. I deliver to him is why I ask.

Fuel range Depends how deep it is. On really deep days my group and I have burnt through a whole tank in 3 hrs.. I think my sled holds around 10.5 gal.. Most guys including myself carry a Jerry can on the tunnel. That way you can go blow through a tank and still get back to the trailer. Most days 5-7 hrs. On a full tank.

I’ve never been fortunate enough to get out on a day deep enough to burn through a whole tank in a few hours. 7hrs and then the 2.5gal j can to get back to the truck is my best. And the way this year is starting out it won’t be any time soon before that changes.
