How much do the fox's run? My stock shocks are just for looks on the back and the front ones aren't too far behind, and my wife has been bitching about how it rides, I'm guessing I'm gonna have to drop it back down or lift it to get that old ride back.

Which end made the most improvement? I might have to spread out my purchase in two buys. Start front or rear?

Front made all the diffrence, rides like stock with 22"s and 35's.

I paid 560 for the set. Fronts went on with the lift I put on the rears. Lift it right and compromise nothing.:)

I'm reviving this one - I'm back with some cash now. Have their been any new developments on this front? I'm ready to move ahead :)

after a bunch of reading and pricing, I think I'm pulling the trigger on the Fox 2.0 res w/o adjusters (just too much coin to add the adjusters). I called the Fox Truck sales ph number to talk about valving and the phone answers and a machine just says the mailbox is full goodbye. I call the corporate number and wait to talk to an operator and it says the mailbox isn't set up goodbye.

Maybe they are closed between the holidays, but what kind of Mickey Mouse bullshit company doesn't even have a phone system to tell you that you got the right place when you call? WTF will they be like if I have a warranty problem or a rebuild down the road. I hate my Bil 5100's, but at least the company didn't seem like a kid working out of an ex-girlfriend's garage and sleeping in his car, LOL.

i dont think you realize just how much business fox does. they were closed for the holidays (shop wise) but with the parker race for BITD coming up this weekend and SCORE races coming up as well, they will be jam packed with guys needing shock rebuilds and revalves. Not to mention all the people calling that need questions answered or to place orders, it fills a mail box up quick and i dont know of a mail box that can accept hundreds of answers.

that said, chill out. you can call any distributor of theirs and get just about any answer you need as well. there is only so much a 2.0 shock can do for an over sprung front end of ours

and just FYI, you dont have to get the dual adjustment compression adjuster. they still make the single 10 position compression adjuster if you get the larger reservoir body for the shock. its cheaper and will give you the change you are after. you dont have the suspension travel to see the difference in the dual adjustment anyhow.

I did throw the Fox 2.0 reservoirs on. They are the best shocks I’ve tried to date; Bils, Nick’s Bils, and Rancho. Not perfect but better.

The only down side is that there’s precious little room up front for those reservoirs. Today I found damage to the driver’s side after 2.5yrs. It seems that as the bushings wear, the shock is able to rotate... which put the driver’s side hose in harms way and she blew out.

So I’ll at least have to get the driver’s side repaired. I’m thinking about sending both fronts and having them put longer hoses on to mount the reservoirs to the frame and out of the way. Any experiences or thoughts??

I got reservoir mounts from CST for mine. Gets them up and out of the way.

Got about 30k on QA1’s and they’re holding up fine so far. Compression is all the way up, rebound is a couple clicks from all the way up. 99% street driving but I do hit speed bumps fast and I did hit a bumpy dirt road and was surprised how fast I was able to go.

I like that. I’ll have to look them up. Thanks

Fox said I should check wearable items more often. Gee, thanks. Under 20k miles and i found damage - how often should I check?! Seems a bit soon to worry about shocks. If I used those CST mounts referenced earlier, there would be no problem. But I used the ones Fox supplies. On a good note, i had to take the truck on 4hr drive because of a funeral today and it wasn’t terrible with the blown shock. Lol

Did some looking - first, no one makes mounts for the LMM. CST are for LML. But, more importantly, I removed the shocks and found that the line didn't rupture! The shock blew out from the res! Passenger side has a slight weep. So 2yrs and under 20K miles, all street and no off-road, and they are blown. Didn't see that coming.
