thanks, so i'm:confused:
they told you what was up with our tranny and not Matt or us?
Don't get me wrong Mike, I think you are an outstanding guy, but why does Suncoast seem to be very shady?

theyre nice to me, when I needed bearings for my buddies ally they told me to go to the allison parts counter as all they do is buy them from allison and mark them up.

But to the orignal poster, is there a chance you are loosing voltage somewhere, our 02 was shifting funny and a faulty ignition switch was at fault.

I honestly believe that they don't know why the clutches failed. This happens sometimes in this business. They addressed everything that could possibly cause the damage and now we wait.

Meanmax, sorry, i didnt mean to derail thread, i posted because i had same? issue and thought you should know. and i would really reconsider having George look at the tranny, he is a hell of a lot closer to you than he is to me and others up here (Ridgerunner Diesel, 1BadMax, just to name a few) who would drive 6-8 hrs to have him build or refresh a tranny. what i did when mine had these issues was buy a AAA membership and have the truck towed to Matt's (2hrs) on a flatbed, it was cheap and painless, and saved us the trouble of trying to drive it in 3rd 90+ miles.
