Just pulled the Crank Positioning Sensor no marks on the face of it made me feel a little better..

I have not got a p0340 in a long time past few day it has been popping up clear the code and starts right back up, or let it sit for a few minutes and it fires right back up. this morning my truck started fine warmed up a few minutes went up the street and she died on me. She will fire right up and idle in the driveway but as soon as I take it up the street she will die. I have taking the Crank Sensor out multiple times and nothing visible seems to be wrong with it or the plug and wires to it... Im thinking its a bad Sensor .. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you
On a lb7 it and cam sensor will Interchange. It probably will on the LLY. If so you can switch the sensors and confirm the sensor being the issue. I have heard of the dealer techs do the same thing and never replace the bad sensor when they couldn't get there hands on one.
