Any guess on HP level

So I'm gettin 60hp injectors put in my Lb7 as I write this from a semi local shop here in Pa. Along with the injectors I'm getting a 150Hp Efi tune from starlight diesel and a fass 150 lift pump. Currently just have turbo back to a 6" stack and afe intake. Anyone have a similar setup that's been dyno'd. Or a educated guess on the rwHp? ( stock trans) just curious about the figures. Prolly won't dyno it till I get more work done (trans, turbo setup etc) thanks

No such thing as 60hp injectors. Around 20%. Make sure you give Starlight that info.

Since you have a stock Trans still then keep it to +100 hp at the wheels max.

youre only going to see a tops of 550 on stock turbo, and like awenta said, unless you've got a bunch of money for a trans you probably shouldn't go over +100 to the wheels

Zach is the man! I ran my lb7 with his trans safe tunes for a little over a year without limping. Did 460 on a Dyno but as soon as I threw 30% overs at it I limped the trans.

I'll take a stab at this one...60hp injectors (guessing DDP?) intake, exhaust, lift pump and +150 EFI tune...ok, add in ricer math, introduce compensatory ricer math factor and that puts you right about +150 to the wheels...

Theoretically speaking, you can have 1000whp set up, but if its only running a +150 tune, its only 150whp over stock

Sorry to be a smart azz, but you set yourself up pretty for that one

Oversized injectors are a waste of money without the air to burn the added fuel, stock injectors can already severly overfuel an lb7's IHI so your not going to gain anything except a lower pulse width. I have the equivalent to 20 overs in mine bc the previuos owner had to replace leaking ones, it dd's well, but when I jump on it, shes smokes out the road, im not a big fan of it. I need more air...

Injectors needed replaced so I went with bigger ones. Company working on my truck said they were 15% over or around 60hp so I can only go by that. It's not a DD so I don't really care about the trans it goes when it goes. It's a project truck now used to be a DD

Start planning on a trans. It won't like the extra power.

Well turns out there 90hp injectors I'm getting and it also needed a cp3 regulator. So guess the trans and turbo is sooner than I thought can't complain

30%. Just keep the tuning down. He can adjust your tuning to be stock safe with those injectors too.

in the last month I did two LB7's with 30 overs from LDS and dialed them back on one and the other guy didn't care since his trans was limped many many times and is going to build it. 1800Us on the limped one (he didn't care and wanted to be able to outrun his son lol) and 1500Us on the second one and they both ran pretty clean except for the initial puff and then really clean after that. the 1500Us one might be a little hot for the stock trans too but he is an older guy and said he would run it much anyway. the other guy said he will build his trans someday and do a turbo is why we went with 30 overs in both. seems more responsive then with stock injectors with similar power output.

I ran 50 over on my stock Lb7 with 445k on it. No problems , it was a much better driving truck than stock injectors.
