The track is open from 8 am to 5 pm. Most likely the racing will start sometime after 9 am

Since it's a private event if they ask why you are there. Tell them your the pit crew for Kathy and Pat McSwain. From what I understand they gave Josh a hard time to get in.

We will arrive at about 2pm at LAX and if everything goes well we should make it 'til 4pm. I am surprised the track closes that early
