I made it out for two days in March-the same weekend as the big avy at the Big Iron Shootout. Terrible situation but could have been worse. We stayed on the kingfisher side of Hunter's and conditions were AWESOME!!

im really jealous you still have snow to ride, got a used 06 apex in december put 1600 miles on it and then the last ride of the year i got going a little to fast in the moguls and barrel rolled it, now i have some work ahead of me before next winter... but maybe while its apart i will put a turbo on it

Do the turbo. Those things are sweet!! If I had deeper pockets I'd buy one and turbo it and then the only thing stopping you from getting to the top of something is the size of your ballz!!

Ya 155hp 2 stroke in a 450lb machine is fun as hell, I can only imagine what 300hp is like which is what alot of those turbo 1200 Skidoo's and the Yammy's are pushing. Some guys are even in the 400 hp plus range!!!

I would be scared shitless with that kind of power on a wheeler, i put a 500 2stroke on a wheeler and nearly killed myself after having it only a week, i sold it and said i would never have that much power in a wheeler again, it was just scary

Anything over 90hp in a quad is getting a little ridiculous. Without an extended swingarm and widenend a-arms they get a little sketchy to ride once you start flogging the power to them. The sand rails run big hp but lots of them are 8' plus long too! My banshee was only 5.5'.

In comparison end to end my sled is 10.5' long with a wee little 144" track, Simon's is about 12' with a 163" and there are tracks out there up to 174" that are putting machines in the 13' range!! And they still stand them straight up and down!!
