I and Pepperidge recently installed a stage 4 with the ML converter recently and I'm well satisfied with its smooth firm shifting. I am able to get 21 to 22 psi boost pressure before the truck tries to push through the brakes. Like most it ran a little hot in the begining of break in, but those temps have since come down to more normal readings. With normal daily driving , which is hard to do, I can tell the difference between stock and this new setup. Its a smooth firm shift, but not so much to disturb the other passengers comfort. But when your desire to stomp on it overwhelms you, like when a Ford or Dodge comes around, LOOK OUT !
The truck has a hidden life of WHOOP ASS!:coolspot:

Yep, with the exception of the first 3-4 shift after re-start you can't tell that mine is built. It shifts like silk once she's warmed up and going(the cold shifting is still good, but i could probably improve it in my tune), but when you hit the go pedal she has a tendancy to break em loose QUICK! I really like the fact that I don't have to get it over 2000 to get it moving now. In the donor truck it would stall up to 2300 no prolem, now she stalls up to about 1900-2000 and is spooling the turbo up pretty good. It also felt like it took care of some of the turbo lag by loading the engine better down low.

It was cool to finally tear into one of these Allisons...I think it went pretty smooth...

and the finished product is as good any other I've driven or ridden in...

I'd say Mike L puts together a nice kit and the support is great...

I can't wait till Steve get a bigger tune though...I wanna see it put through it's paces...:happy2:
