Did head gaskets on a LLY this last week. Took heads in and had them cleaned, pressure tested and resurfaced. I cleaned up the block reall good and even put a straight edge on it. Was nice and flat. Used lml grade C gaskets and arp studs. Last night I got it together and it started right up. Now comes the issue. Overflow tank was bubbling right away. Put cap on and upper hose got solid.
Today I tore it back down. Both gaskets was installed correctly. No damage to gaskets that I could see. Whole intake on both sides had coolant in it and all cylinders was half full.
Im pretty sure its a cracked head myself. Is there a certain spot the crack?

We did that to one head pulling in 2013. Would only fill the cyl that had the inj bore cracked with coolant, not all of that bank. I eventually found that I hadn't completely torqued that nozzle on and it would leak at the nozzle nut. I blamed that for the cracked head.
