Hey everyone! I am hoping one of you tuning gods can help out a newbe!

I am having a serious defuel problem with my #3 tune on my DSP5 program. I have run the tune as a DSP2 program and it worked fine, but when I upgraded to DSP5 the tune isn't even drivable.

All the other tunes on the DSP5 are fine.

If anyone can shed so light on this, it would be great!

Ok, I have tried to upload my logged file, but got a message that it was invalid.

Looks like I need more help than I thought!!:confused:

Ok, I was able to get the file zipped and attached! Haha, big accomplishment already!

It is kind of a long log, but shows a couple attempted acceleration runs. Near the end of the log, I am at cruising speed and rolling into the throttle in 6th. It keep trying to downshift to 5th, and causes all kinds of chaos!

Ok, I have been looking around the tables and I have a question. When running the DSP5 OS, do all of the DSP tunes use the main B1106 Peak Torque vs. RPM table for ECM torque limiting, or does just the main tune use this table. I have my main tune as my stock tune and work up the the hot tune on #5.

That's pretty nasty looking. Is this a tune you made or one you purchased from someone?

Forgive me, I am not very good with EFI as of yet. It is a tune I downloaded, and then used in my DSP2. It worked ok there. When I moved it to the DSP5 OS, this is what happened.

It is horrible when it tries to shift. Think whiplash!

Free download or a site you had to pay to use or be a customer to access?

Free DL. I downloaded it as a standard tune. I basically copied what was done to my DSP2 file and tried it. It worked ok. Then I copied it to my DSP5 and it shifts like crap!! I did pay for a race tune, but I don't really like it. I like the way this one drove as a standard tune. Power came on smooth, and not bad timing rattle. My race tune is like a on/off switch and has a lot of rattle when I first step on the throttle.

Either way, I have no idea how to fix defuels on shifts, and am looking for some pointers.

Are you saying that your base tune is your stock tune? You want your base tune to be your hottest tune, then all the rest of the DSP works off of your base.
