What would to much timing have to do with a bent pushrod? Nothing that's what it has to do with it.......

You obviously have a hard part problem either a valve way out of adjustment backwards gasket is a problem to obviously. Something mechanically is going wrong tuning isn't bending pushrods

I already have arp headstuds on it, what do u do to the water pump?
So lifting the cab is easier then pullin the motor? I have a car lift
Pull the motor. The cabs are kind of a pain to pull with how the wiring is set up. Not too bad but not as easy as a 6.0. A friend of mine can have a lb7 out in 1.5 hrs and i dont think theres any way you could pull a cab that fast.

I can pull a cab faster then a motor now lol I find much easier to do for headgasket jobs wiring is easy to pull apart imo.

Its probably half a dozen 1 way and 6 the other really and come down to personal preference. I pulled the cab on the last LLY i did and i would say there is no way you could pull the cab in less than 3 hours.

You don't need to pull the heads to see if the gasket is on wrong. There is a tab on each end that tells if it's the left or right side, and the letters read up. Only difference in the left and right is the port location of the oil hole for the valve train, if you've got oil coming into the middle rocker assembly it's one correct. I would guess if it does have hg done in the past, they adjusted the valves incorrect time.

There is a letter in the upper right hand corner when the head gasket is installed the drivers side has an L and the passagers side has an R. There are also tabs that stick out the front you can see when the heads on.

The right side Hg is pictured clearly. If it's the left and upside down only thing that would change is coolant oil. Ain't not possible way a hg wrong would scrap the pushrods, unless you put a ford hg on it lol
