Sorry, I was more of the Get Smart era than the Moonwalk era. Our heroes were astronauts who walked on the moon back then, not disco dancers.
So what was it like growing up with Barney and CareBears as role models?

Nope. Never bought a MJ record. I was listening to country western or rock mostly and working in a factory when MJ was popular. Sure I've heard some of his songs. Pop music with orchestra backgrounds, right? Kinda like Britney Spears stuff? Bubblegum music.

The weiner eating competition was faked as well. In real life what happened was the wieners ate the contestants. But the evil capitalist HotDog Triad needed to show that weiners aren't as dangerous as they really are, so they staged the whole thing. In truth, anytime there are more than 8-10 hotdogs together, they attack. This is why hotdogs aren't sold by the dozen like most other goods. And why the number of hotdog buns never matches the number of hotdogs. Nobody can agree what the critical Killer HotDog threshold is.
The only thing California is good for is to lead by example to the rest of the country on how NOT to live and operate. Keep up the good work Patty.
