After a longgggg and i mean longgggg wait my motor build it almost done.
A little history I bought my truck a little over a year ago, previous owner told me it was a built motor truck, had twins and claimed to have 40 overs in it. Well after about 4 months of daily driving we tuned the truck for 40 overs and I popped the motor running down a corvette on i40, cracked a piston and melted 2. SOOOO 9 months later and shes almost back together.

First I want to say burkett racing engine was a pleasure to work with, Jeff is an awesome guy and knows these motors inside and out, literally. Isael Mondragon is doing the rest of the work(same guy that does Buck Spruills truck). Unfortunately for him Dirty south diesel performance in louisburg nc lost half of my truck while taking it apart and long story short I currently have them in small claims court to recoup the over 1200 dollars in missing parts. Also dozers diesel in greenville which i believe is no longer in business or changed their name lost several parts to my turbo kit when i had them hydrodip everything. This thing has been a nightmare but it will all be worth it.

So here is the list of my new parts and some pics to follow:

Carrillo Rods
Delipped Mahle Pistons
LBZ Block(std bore)
LLY Crank and Cam keyed
LBZ heads with a stage 1 port and polish from Burkett
Arp Head and Main studs
PPE dual cp3 wth lbz pumps
100 over injectors
Lbz fuel rails
Remote mount s475
LML exhaust manifolds
EGR delete
Welded water pump
Comp cam valve springs(good to 100psi)
Suncoast trans with 1058 converter

Built Front end, tie rod sleeves and straight centerlink
F-Bomb fab trac bars
20x12 fuel hostages with 305/50/20 Nitto 420s
B&W Turnover Ball
Single 8" Mitre Cut stack
Dark Ass Tint all around
Efi Live with dsp5 by Kory Willis
Edge Insight CTS with EGT probe and backup camera
Isspro Gauges(EGT, trans temp, boost)
Helper Bags on rear axle
Everything has been hydrodipped a white carbon fiber

Probably some things I am missing as well, but here we go what we've all been waiting for....the pics

Really just wanted to try it out. Easier to swap turbos out and looks better in my opinion.

So did the truck really have a built motor and it just happen to crack a piston or was it a stock motor with 40 over injectors that got pushed too far (unknowingly)?

She's got air ride. So wasn't too bad of a ride. But definitely rides lower now than it did before after all that heavy hauling. Not a bad car for 800 bucks.

Turns out there was Carrillos in it. Also stock lly uncut pistons but 2 cylinders were sleeved. We took the injectors and had them flow tested and 6 flowed at a stock rate 2 were not even flowing to stock standards.

Hello Adam!

You had problems with JJ at dozers?! No way!

Lord did I ever. He lost my turbo pedestal for the remote mount kit, and the oil lines. Then claimed to have never gotten the parts. And even worse for me, EPR is out of business so I couldn't buy another pedestal, had to get one from Wehrle fab and make it fit.
