I recall seeing/finding an Alllison filter spin on remote adapter last year and now cannot find the link. Anyone know where I could purchase one.? Preferably machined aluminum not cast..

Thanks...

I believe he mentioned that he wanted to add in a filter to the power steering system.

That was the intent depending on cost, after going through several pumps on my old work truck I installed a filter and never had another pump go out in about 8 years. If I use the Allison filter it's inexpensive and one less type of filter to have around.

Do you have a cooler. That's why I was pumps so regularly on my Jeep because I was superheating the fluid off road trying to turn 40"s. Obviously we have smaller tires but temp is still an issue I feel

What kind of cooler are you using and where did you have it placed in? If you're having pump issues, your cooler may not be sufficient or not well placed to exchange the heat.

I installed a cooler about 2 years ago, I think, somewhere about then....

Never mind my pm answer. Just make sure you use this on the return. I watched a guy do this on the pressure side and the hose blew up like a baloon before it burst and made a mess. Funnier than shit.:roflmao:
