Naw, second gear launch is way high (1.81 vs 3.10), so ring and pinions aren't relevant until you hit 5.89 gears.

But there is a need for a trans brake for more predictable launches.

Get it to function, list a price, and I'll run one in Casper.

Any updates? This would be sweet, this could help my launch a ton. My trucks brake pedal loves to just go to the floor while launching.

Talked to Brayden today , looks like he may have something availible within the next 3-4 weeks , sometime in the begining of January . Hopefully just in time for me to go to vegas for some shake down runs :cool2:

Yeah I wanna see what the testing says. Would be great for consistency, but I see the potential for broken parts, especially on heavy, high hp trucks. I'd love to try it, I don't think I have the hp to utilize it though

Keep the chassis preloaded with the brakes and use the trans brakes as a ditional holding power , it shouldnt "shock" the parts like it would normally ;)

Suncoast recently resurrected their transbrake VB project putting it on there shop truck (510 hp) for testing. Results were promising, worked just as you've described above--valve body has since been removed and sent to an unidentified racer for real testing.
