I bet it does... I am curious how they compare to an 8l90 or 10l90...

I've got an 8L90 in my GMC 1500 6.2 and I like the ZF much better. Word's out that the 8L90 is going away soon to be replaced by the 10L90.

Works well is an understatement. Stock they even take a few 1100hp runs pretty good :D

I've seen some of your passes and the 8HP is very impressive. I've noticed that your shifts tend to soften up as your power goes up. I guess when you go over 1100 they tend to do that.:roflmao::hug::D

I’m curious when they will start monitoring battery cell life
I foresee in years when the batteries start decaying you end up stuck at a redlight lol

They already do. I know in BMWs there's many many things that will prevent an engine shut down at a stop including hvac demand, battery state of charge, outside temp ect. From what I've heard the engines have different bearings to withstand the starts and alternators and starters are monitored. Im sure all vehicles with this function will have similar technology. Also from what I'm told the reason for the feature is more for emissions than mpg.
