Hi everyone, i have an 03 duramax that i just rebuild my 03 Allison tranmission with the transgo and suncoast rebuild kit. I put the Trans back in the truck and it won't shift. When you shift into gears you can hear the motor, ever so slightly idle down and I can barley feel the gear catching but nothing happens. I never done this before but Imy sure everything was correct.
Last night I took the Trans back put assuming it was a bell housing gasket in wrong, they were both in correctly. So I took the pump apart again and re read the instruction again. I used a ligher spring in one of the valve and realized I didnt put in a shim in.
Was not having that "bronze" shim and having a heavier spring enough to prevent the truck from moving?
