Okay this is my daily driver and one of my work trucks, but just a couple weeks ago sitting in my buddies drive it threw two codes P0700 and P0972 (First Shift solenoid). I put the transgo jr. in about 4 months ago with no probs after about 4000 miles. Sometimes truck works fine, sometimes it doesnt, but not if i clear the codes, they come back up at idle. I have an Edge Juice WA and a 5" exhaust and intake. Truck has had no issues until now. I believe it is electrical because sometimes it drive so i went ahead and replaced the Internal Wiring harness, TCM (and got it reflashed by dealer) and now i replaced shift solenoid C and the Pressure switch along with new fluid and two new filters. ive always changed fluid. Nothing has worked and its been to three very reputable shops and they cant find anything. Truck is not going into gear and in limp mode. What else could it be? bad battery? said they checked them. Broken wire? said they checked those too. NOW WHAT! PLEASE HELP! i need this thing to make money and im already over 1200 in parts and fluids alone for this one issue with no results. Check wires # 52 and #71 at the TCM and follow them down to the Trans connecter. There is an open circuit somewhere.
