thank you everyone, the positive comments are really nice to hear, i have been thrashing for 4 months straight to get that single cab out for a few passes, sooooo much hard work and alot of miles, i drove 3000 miles for that race on top of thrashing at suncoast on dallas truck for 2 weeks solid before the race, so again i thank you for the comments:hug::hug:

Congrat's on getting the new ride fast and in short order! I thought your other truck was a questionable pass but the new truck with the hood stack there is no question. 148 is fast! Now get a real tranny (not a allison) and that thing is going to fly. I hope to see it at TS in may.

I hope I can be there to see it run once you get it to shift. That thing ought to run low 9's and mid 150's easy once you can get it to shift and stay off the limiter I would think.
That is a fast pass, with any transmission. What I think is most impressive is Dmitri driving all the way back there for that race when they couldn't get hardly any of the more local guys to come. Dmitri has way more energy than me, those Allisons don't like that kind of HP for very long, and pulling one out and fixing it all the time is not fun. I assume he will be in Phoenix, probably time to put the duraflite back in.
I still can't get over him telling me 1785HP wasn't enough, so he pulled the engine out, freshened it up, and worked it over some MORE. Said he's shooting for 2K HP to the wheels now.
Wow the amount of fast trucks out there nowadays is amazing, 9 sec is so "what ever" anymore. Thats alot of hard, time, and money consuming work right there! :thumb:
Easy there slim anus. Don't go getting all douchey on me. I said no doubt it was fast. But the person was saying something about the fastest dmax allison 1/4 mile yada yada pass. IT was fast. But really doesn't mean much to me since you still lost. Sorry I too can have a opinion on things. I was there last year but couldn't make it this year. I don't know dimitri and dont hate him in anyway. I did say a couple times see my original post that IT WAS FAST. I did give him credit for that. I know he didn't start this thread. It was to the original poster that I think, My personal opinion that its stupid that people are saying its the fastest duramax allison combo thats ran that high of mph in the 1/4 mile. Thats all. You guys need to take a chill pill. And im not the only one thats a member here that feels the same way. Sorry to affend anyone.
