allison built hi temp

Hi everybody. i m running allison fully built w/1055 5/8 hoses PPE cooler PPE deep pan snake oiler and i like to lower the trans temp any idea ?? if im in traffic the temp goes at 220* and when i drag 2 run (1/8) temp will be at 200* running 750rwhp DD and may be 1000rwhp when i drag running twin GT47/S71 LMM 6speed

any solution ??

I am all stock on the cooling side and barely ever see 200* at the track and never more then 100* above ambient during normal driving/stop and go traffic. Was like that with my Precision ML, DPC, and 1057 now. Not sure if you have something wrong or not, but seems pretty high considering all your cooling mods. Did you bypass the radiator?

Did you pull the trans have it built and then reinstall it?

Did it fry pretty good before you had it built?

ok just ordered raybestos clutch from Dan@ppe to refresh it and my truck is in the garage for all winter so let me know what i can do to low the temp...thank you and Mike can you read your PM please ??

The new clutches are NOT Raybestos, they are the New PPE Stage 6 kits..... :thumb:
