Allison builder recommending dex 3

With the combination of clutches and steals used in my build I was told to use dex 3 non synthetic and of coarse I am going to ! I would like to know if anyone has used Mobile DM atf , it says GM , FORD , ALLISON . Or how about Lucas Sure Shift semi synthetic , might be a good compromise for good clutch lock and lower trany temps ? What would any of you recommend , the local NAPA has regular dex 3 , would like to hear your input ! Thanks !

Valvoline dex/merc is the same as dex3. What I’ve always used and change every 10k along with the internal filter and inspect

That's what I used last time because it was all the parts store had 6 gals of lol. Working fine.

this thread was started for a specific set of circumstances , your trany builder will know best , if not built , use recommended fluids !

I'd talk to your builder. Mine says 20-25k fluid changes with my trans and at my power level. Best to stick to what your builder recommends if you want to keep their warranty.

mines just starting to burn up by then due to my use and power so i change it. internal filter is easy enough to change at the time so it gets changed, plus the fact i burnt a trans up from a plugged filter/dieing converter so im trying to be a little proactive about it
