i'd be looking at the pressure switch assembly on the valve body.or loose or chaffed wires.

what else would you like i am new to the dmax and allision

I dunno perhaps what is it doing? Any modifications to the truck as in power adders or work done to the transmission for starters?

The more info given the better chance of getting your problem possibly resolved.

I talk to the guy i bought it from and he has had it since 97000 miles and it has 214000 on it know and he has never put any update or proggramers on it. He said he was driving it and it went to limp mode and he parked it. It sounds to me like they have trouble with the wires. Is there a specific spot were the wires are likely to have problems.

If you think its a wiring issue a common place to check is drivers side inner fender well near the TCM. Know place to get wire rub due to not having any loom on it from the factory within 10" of the TCM.
