so ive got a 2007 silverado 2500hd lbz duramax.

so it all started, i hooked up my sub to my battery, and the stereo and ground.
started my truck to pull out of the shop and BOOM abs light and park brake light are both one.

found a code for brake circuit so i tried by replacing the brake switch and it made no difference..
noticed that with the scanner hooked up it said brake switch (not applied) but cruise control cancel or something along those lines on tech II (applied)

doing my research online i see about a bad ground with the abs and bmc by the body mount. i remove that and clean it, re install. no difference.

check the ecm relay and try putting a different relay in that same spot.
this time i go look and the abs like is VERY VERY dim, and the display says check washer fluid, i have no turn signals, and no a/c.:angry5:.. and to top that off the tach reads 0 and will randomly bounce around 700rpm.
tried swapping relays back and now ive still got the same symptoms, no a/c and such.

i noticed if i drive the truck with that abs light being very dim, after about 2mph it starts flashing and seems to get brighter and faster as speed increases, and the tach bounces more.

i found on this forum someone else had a problem with there ecm relay and that caused almost identical symptoms but havent worked for me..

any help would be awesome.. im stumped

Did you try disconnecting the stereo/sub to see if it goes away???

I disconnectes the positive from the battery.

At idle the tach jumps from 0 to 700.
At idle the abs light is very faintly lit, as you start moving it starts blinking like its almost with a Vss or sensor revolution.
And other dash light like low fuel, tow haul they all are faintly light.

Check washer fluid when you first start it.

Were did u pull power for the remote wire on the amp. Or are u using an aftermarket stereo?

Used a wire from the fuse block, well a key on power from a fuse.
Tcb or Tbc accy fuse.
Idk what it is but I removed it also. Saw someone else had a similar issue all the same symptoms but there's was a loose relay pin. Did the same thing they did and nothing.
Maybe a bad fuse block or bad battery?

I'm pretty sure tbc is your trailer brake control. I'm not sure if pulling power from it would disrupt it but try to unplug the trailer bake controller to make sure its not shorting out. Just a shot in the dark. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Witch side of the fuse did u pull from. Supply side or demand side? If it was the supply side (before fuse) its possible it shorted a relay or control module. Check if the fuse still has power when the ignition is on.

I pulled power. No difference

It's gotta be something like a ground that I would think of.

Originally it was just abs and park brake light on. Then I started messing with stuff and now it got worse to this..
But I've already back tracked

try unplugging both batteries leave them off for a minute or two and see if that makes a bit of difference. I had problems with my 02 with electrical but nothing like this seems like something got surged or something really not that big of help.

I'll give that a shot, because I was going to test both of them anyways. It's almost like its a ground or a power draw. With all my warning lights on the dashing being dim.

Unless the ebcm is mssed up or lost connection

Any other input? This is just weird.. I can only think maybe a bad wire or bad prong in the fuse block. And a bad abs motor

Maybe one of the batteries is about dead? Had them do weird things when one battery was failing and the other was ok.

Got the dash stuff figured out and turn signal stuff.

Loose connection at ign 3 fuse...

But still on with the abs and e brake light

Jack it up, grab the top of each wheel and pull in and out. Maybe you have a bad wheel bearing that messed up the abs sensor and were just lucky enough for it to happen at the same time as the other problems. I pulled codes on a truck the other day with the same thing, he got it aligned and then it set the abs light. Not sure yet what his is.
