All season brace bent

Well I just put on my new all season brace from DHD the other day. Installation was simple and easy. I went out and did a couple 4wd launches. Started at low boost then worked my way up a bit, the last one was I think 12 psi and the truck skipped and hooped around pretty bad so I backed off and went back home. Checked some things out and now the all season brace sits about an inch away from the differential :( really bummed because I loved the ingenuity and simple design of it. Do y'all think tony would work with me to get a replacement? Or should I just try bending it back? Thanks guys

Mine has always sat at least a 1/2" from the diff since I first installed it. Only thing I could see wrong was it seemed like my idler and pitman arms were worn slightly.

Were your wheels straight when you checked it?

Mine always sits off the diff about a half inch. I really don't see how you could bend it, the force necessary to do that would break other stuff first. I have had some bad bad hops leaving at 18 to 20 lbs and haven't bent anything yet.

Yea pitman and idler are both brand new, wheels are straight when I check. I mean it is bent because I can see where it bent and where the paint chipped, I'm gonna give him a call today, I think a different component made it hop and launch like that so once I get that fixed it should be good, hopefully he will help.

The torsion bars were my other component.... Opps lesson learned. They were cranked up to make truck level. I just wanted to do a little testing with my new front end. That's why I only went up to around 12 psi of boost. From now on I'll back them down all the way.

Yeah, that's probably still gonna give you quite a bit of movement up front with the cv's that steep. that's about where mine were, when i leveled mine out it was a night and day diffrence.

Ok thanks everyone, btw i talked to tony today and he was really helpful. He explained to me how to check for bent components, my idler pivot was bent slightly also. We concluded it was most likely because of the way I had the torsion keys and the cv angle. I just bent the brace back into shape and all is good now it seems. Lesson learned haha
