Been lurking for a while. Decided to join up, I need to do some searching. Tim Z says this is the place to be for Dirtymax guys that are into racing, pulling, and DD performance, so I think this is the place for me. :D

Last week I picked up a 2001 LB7 truck. This is our 3rd D-max, the first was a 2001 single cab 3500, and the second was a 2003 crew cab 2500. Both of them had Edge Juice, and were great trucks. My plans for this truck are a little different though.

On to a quick pic of the truck. This is how I aqcuired the truck, it's been properly "riced" by the P.O. :screwy: Soon to be returned to normal.

And here it is parked next to my 11 second Silverado.

Glennallen/palmer here.
What plans do you have for the truck? Nice looking truck by the way. :thumb.

Glennallen and Palmer? How often do you get to Wasilla?(civilization) lol

Jfwy, I've got some friends that live at Lake Louise, and they have a house here in Wasilla too. I don't get up north very often, but look me up if you're in town. I'll be at the drag strip once in a while this summer too.

Oh crap, plans for the truck.....

Well, I guess that's why I'm here. To feed the addiction. My first thoughts are, fuel system upgrades, and a small tune. 100hp-ish. Wanting to keep the stock trans, improve power and economy, without going overboard.

Basically the exact same plan that I started out with for my half-ton Silvy.

Welcome to DD and nice trucks

Ain't that the truth! And thanks for the welcome.

:welcome2:

:hello:

It sure is. :hello:

Have any coil packs for sale?

No coil packs at this time, sold them all to John! :D

:welcome7:

Thanks!

Nice another one from AK. Just down running at Palmer yesterday. I will have to let you know next time and you can bring that bad a half ton.

Welcome

I think I saw your truck once last summer at the track, but I didn't see you make a pass. That exhaust pipe is a dead giveaway! See you there!

Welcome! At a 100hp your flirting with needing a trans... depending on how controlled you are with the skinny pedal:D

Aww, that's not what I wanna hear! I've been known to be kinda stupid with the loud pedal. :(

:welcome7:

I am on the correct side of the Valley. :roflmao::roflmao:

Hmm, I might know who you are. Did you buy that truck new at Tony's, and have BLKMAX plates? You'll have to stop by my shop sometime & say hi. It's up here on Lucille Street.

X2. Mine would limp pretty easily on my 100hp efi tune, but i was always in the throttle more then i should have been.

Well, hopefully I'll get lucky. I use HPTuners, so we shall see. Right now I have other issues to work out, mainly a P0093. :(

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I've been researching lift pumps, probably gonna be my first mod.

Started some maintenance on the ol LB7 today. Fresh oil & filter change, fuel filter, trans filter, cabin air filter, etc. Also put a set of stock headlamps & tails in, a bunch of new bulbs, and started debadging. Still needs upper ball joints, and the rear prop shaft joints are SHOT!! Once I get those in, I'll start driving her.
