In a bit of a dilemma here...

Can't decide if I want a bumpski stock for my ak47 or if I want to leave the ak47 alone and buy an ak pistol. Both are about the same price and equally as sweet.

Here is an ak pistol with a 75 round drum in action...

Here is the ak pistol I would get. I love this little draco and want one bad.

Here is the bumpski in action...its pretty bad ass. It's as close to full auto as I can get considering a genuine full auto ak47 will cost you about 30k. I've already got a 75 round drum mag as well....

Another option I have considered and alot more expensive is.....get the ak pistol and the bumpski stock...file my atf papers for a short barrel rifle and have a wannabe full auto ak pistol. Ultimate bad-assery. Only issue I see with this is the ak pistol receiver would need to be modified for a stock. I don't know how involved it would be.

I have two ak rifles, bought my pistol last year and I love it. Mines a pap, as far as a slide fire, imho, burns up to much ammo, gun gets hot, no accuracy. With that being said there cool as hell if you want to burn up ammo. My pistol goes with me in my camper, and a 7.62x39 doesnt doesn't lose its knockdown that bad being fired from a short weapon. The fireball at night is sweet.

I hope that you have an ample ammo budget if you get the bumpski stock. I have an M4gery with a Slidefire stock, and it is easy to burn through 1000 rounds very, very quickly.

Good luck with your choice. I love my a.k.'s. They shoot well out to 200 yards plus if you practice.

How much did you guys pay for your ak pistols? Local shop has the m70's for $470. My normal ak is the same gun and it's been awesome. Seems like they price is anywhere from $550-600 for the pistols around here. I just called that shop and he said his are still on sale for $470.

get the new stock they made for wounded warriors. ATF classified it as NOT A STOCK but it kinda....is a stock. LOVE IT! Legal to put on any AR or AK pistol. Pretty sure they make them for both.

Well 3 months later and I finally decided to snag an AK pistol. Since Obama banned importation of Russian guns and ammo I decided I need to jump on it and get me one.

Picked up the Yugo m92. Pretty much anything AK is selling out quick around here so when I saw my local arms dealer had just got a few in I cruised on over. He had the mini draco and the yugo pistol. I didn't like the front grip on the draco that much.

Got home and sanded the front grip down and restained and finished it. Looks much better. Also ordered an additional 2000 rounds of 7.62x39 last week and it showed up today. Today was A-OK!

And here it is before I refinished the grips.
