so my buddy has been having fuel pressure issues with his 6.0 powerstroke. he had it at river city diesel in east Peoria because it was running bad and it ended up have low fuel pressure and it tore up the plungers in the injectors. he said that they adjusted the pressure on his return and fixed the injectors and it was good for a while. then he started getting low fuel pressure again, so he changed his filters. when he went to change the filters he noticed fuel was leaking out of the airdog motor. he called airdog to try and get them to warranty it but they gave him the run a round for a while and then finally told him that he didn't send in his warranty card so they couldn't do anything about it. I have seen this happen before with other people on other forums, and have been helped out by vendors on the site and was wondering if there was anything anyone could do for us. any help would be much appreciated.

Doesn't follow the rules for lifetime warranty and gets canned... Sounds about right. Can't bitch at a company for following policy. The warranty card is there for a reason.

It said in 3 different areas of the box of parts my air dog came in big huge letters in bold FILL OUT THE WARRANTY CARD.

Sorry to hear about your situation but they don't mess around.

Like the other guys said, Cant really blame Airdog for not warrantying it. He didn't do his part which takes 5 mins to do and mail it in. On the flip side.. If the pump isn't that old, tell him to call airdog and try and get Anthony on the phone. See if he can help him out.

If its not that old and he has the recipt he may be able to still fill out the warranty card. Airdog just sent me a new pump ONLY and it was only I think a 100 dollars. No motor, brackets, hoses, filters. Just the pump base. Took everthing off old pump to replace cracked hosing. Maybe just order a gasket kit from them and rebuild it.

I am not blaming them for his mistake. all I am saying is that I have seen reps take care of situations like this in other threads. just trying to help out a friend

best bet would be to contact AirDog and get a new motor to put on the unit. Then FILL OUT THE WARRANTY CARD and SEND IT IN! :thumb:

I have heard of people mailing it in and airdog claiming that they did not get it. I tell everyone to make sure they call airdog after a couple weeks to confirm they received it.

Happened to me................they eventually took care of it..............funny thing is their records showed I bought it and they drop shipped it to me.

Everything was verified, but yet they still gave me a hard time.

:(

something like this still wouldn't stop me from buying the best lift pump on the market, yes is a hassle if you are one of the rare cases that you had to fight them on it but its not like it happening on a daily basis.
