Think that could bend rods, crack block etc...? I was in a parking lot barely over idle speed when it cut off. It was very quiet. No loud noises/vibrations.
The nut is still on the gear. Got it torn down to the cp3 today. Will pull the cp3 tomorrow. Gotta thank Diesel Addiction for helping me so quick and working tomorrow when they are suppose to be closed!
I wish you could have seen the old cp3 that seized up. The nut self-tightened and mushroomed the gear onto the shaft and split the shaft in half! All metal was turned ash white from so much stress/heat. Wonder why this shaft didn't split in half. Hope that is the only reason keeping crank from rotating. :why-me:
Cp3 seized up. Blew freeze plug out the bottom. Crank rotates freely!!!! What a relief!!!!
Not sure why I've been through two pumps in a couple months. Going to replace Airdog as well.
