I keep getting a "Service Airbag" shown on the DIC and the airbag Icon is always on. I'm pretty sure I didn't unplug anything when I was screwing around with the truck. Are there any connections I can check or does this thing have to get fixed by the dealer??

BTW, it doesn't show any codes either. Pretty sure this stuff isn't recognized by EFI, but figured I'd mention it anyway

EFI *should* display the airbag codes, if any. I've had EFI pull codes from my stereo and HVAC controls before.. It just doesn't always have the definition for them, so I had to look up the number online.

Even so, it couldn't hurt to find a Tech2 to read it. Good luck!

Our caddy has the same issue right now with the airbag service light and DIC message. EFI woulod not see it for me, we are going to have to take it caddy here in town and get it hooked up.

Unless someone can chime in who knows what is going on

I got same damn problem. Mine was read by EFI Live. Said something about rear center sensor or something. Either way there is not a whole hell of alot of answers on this but best Ive figured is the airbag control module is located underneath drivers seat. I think the 03+ are on top of carpet and 01-02 is under carpet. Either way there was a recall or TSB back in the day regarding moisture and corrosion setting in the plugs and terminals. Have to clean all the terminals and connectors and I would apply some dielectric grease on it or Fluid Film. Ive been meaning to do it but havent had time nor am I looking forward to pulling the seat out as I know it will lead to something else. Thats all I know about it for now. Let me know if it works.
