Here in the next 2 weeks the local track opens and im not sure what would be best for the track, ill be running the mods in my signature with no torsion bolts in, and air bags in the back. if i air them up anything over 30 without a trailer behind me it rides terrible and the back axle likes to hop/vibrate over 70.
For the people that tow with air bags and race, which is better having them aired up over 50 or so or no air? I will be on 305/55/20 nittos also.

What's your rear suspension setup?

Full leaf pack? Long bars? Caltracs? Clamped springs? Shocks?

Sorry I did not specify. I'm hoping to get into the 11s. I'm running a 2 inch block, 6.5 foot track bars, rancho s5000 shocks, regular full leaf pack

I never ran any air in mine when racing. Honestly never tried.

I don't even tow with 70 pounds usually. That's solid. Try up to 10. Or 5 even. But I agree with stanced, it'd probably isn't necessary. I'm pretty sure there was a good thread about this a while ago.

I run zero psi when driving empty.

Lowering air in the tires?

Forgot to state that my front end has a pro comp 6 inch lift with stock keys and no bolts. Sits a little lower than a leveling kit. And yes I'll be lowering tire pressure from 58 to 40 psi at the track
