Air Dog II 165 issues

Got the pump fit up, hoses plumbed, and electrical wired. Not getting any power at pump, had to pump primer bulb to prime fuel system. Truck lopes at idle and tach fluctuates between 0-1000rpm rapidly. Any ideas what to do? We're kind of at a block right now and can't come up with any ideas. AD fuse is in the TBS IGN1 fuse location.

Sounds like maybe two different issues. The AD 165 is a flow through pump so truck should run/idle OK without pump running. I would try jumping 12V straight to the pump and see if it runs better, that way you can eliminate the pump solenoid and wiring. The lopey idle sounds like maybe the fuel line could be sucking air. Look for leaks in the line. Put some light air pressure on the fuel filler, shop vac in blow mode and some duct tape will do the job, and look for leaks.
