Air Bags Needed?

2015 3500 HD SRW towing an 11,000 pound empty fifth wheel trailer.

So I figure around 12,000 pounds with stuff in it.

I know air bags can't hurt but are they needed in this case?

Depends on tongue weight, will save on spring life, and keep rear heights up, but depending on how much air you run and how long our stock shocks last it will be bouncier.

I find that if you run the right amount of air the truck will bounce less since it doesn't go so deep into it's travel when you hit a bump.

+1. I have the Hellwig airbags and just run 25 psi. Levels the truck back out and rides better.
