Has anyone tried to replace the factory bose sub with a aftermarket sub? I want to put new subs in but dont want them under the seat. JL audio sells a stealth box for the 2011 chevy but for $600 I was thinkin i could just rip the bose sub out and bolt in a aftermarket sub then mount the AMP under the front seat or somthing like that. Any one tried this? If not im probably just try takin things abart later and see what i could find out.

I want to build a box to put inside the console to replace the factory sub. I just can't see paying $500 for the JL stealth box.

MaddMaxx61 do u have any pics of it from the front seat just curious.

I will have to see what I can do it is dark out so it would not be a good pic right now.

I am sure a guy with a bit of time could make one that gos under the dash and part of the console

Here his pic shows some of the room you could use.
