OK so have read and read until Im bored outta my mind and this is what Ive come up with.
- Factory Bose H/U is a pretty good h/u in fact
- Need a line out converter for rear subs (brands???)
- Grab line out BEFORE amp
Now what do I do for a remote turn on for a rear amp for subs? Just splice into bose amp? Ive seen some dude make an RCA output with the factory harness as the BOSE amp now is that better? Does it matter?
How will I control the bass on the amp between songs with no bass controller for my old school amp (RF Punch 200a)?
I used to use all Pioneer decks that had the internal GE and loved it. Im not looking for huge sound or anything just a nice sounding boost up from what Ive got. Ive always had systems and told myself I was gonna leave this one alone....well thats lasted 2 months so far and I got all the old trucks stuff in the garage looking at me ready to go.
I have read Bens writeup on DP and to tell the truth Im even more confused now then I was before.... he too smart for me...haha.
So even if I do rear subs would a Bose Lux amp boost the door speaker level and stay clear? If so Im game for that too as I have the Bose amp now. Sucks to say the least. Bose in general sucks in automotive. I want clarity at louder volumes. Have clarity now just not loud.
Chris
BTW - Going with the (4) 8" under rear seat box and not sure on speakers. May even go with (2) 10" box as thats what I got in garage.
