i bumped current way up to 1650 at the start and started working its way down linearly like yours jake and it follows desired rail WAY better. rattle is just about all gone. im gunna do some more fine tuning on it but its pretty much licked.

Just a bump to this thread,

i hit a little wall where adding current would not fully fix the issue. it got rid of most of it but it would still go well beyond demanded for a second or so then come back down.

i wound up messing with the direct time adjustment small, medium and large to see if i could get it to match better and increase those in my problem area got it following and staying on demanded alot better.

i also found some rattle was coming from timing and by messing with pilot timing some as well as tweaking those direct time adjustments to rail, this thing has never been quieter. never expected adjusting some pilot timing could stop the high timing rattle i would get off boost, i was pretty stoked to find that helped out alot
