Acts similar to a neutral drop

Very new to the Duramax world, but seem to have problem after problem with mine. I have recently remedied the dreaded injector harness problem and all seemed well until about an hour ago. I was driving and it seemed like either the rear end released for a split second or acted similar to a neutral drop. I was driving out of my subdivision and when it got bumpy it felt as if the rear end lifted and caused the RPMs to rise quickly and once I let of the fuel it seemed ok. Then I was driving home about 45 minutes later on the interstate and it did it again, by the time I realize what's happening it seems back to normal. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No it's not a part at all. It's when the transmission doesn't complete a shift in a timely fashion. Off going clutches release before on coming apply, creating a brief "neutral" situation. Any codes? Check engine light? Need to get us some more info on truck and any codes.

When was the lest ome you changed the spin on external trans fluid filter? When they get clogged the line pressure can suffer resulting in flared shifts...

No check engine light, just done it twice since I've owned it (about a year), did have my transmission serviced about 3 weeks ago. My truck is a GMC Sierra 2500HD, only add is the K&N intake which came on it when it comes to mechanical add ins. I have added a decent amount of cosmetic stuff but nothing major.

It wouldn't hurt to change the spin filter on the trans. Super easy to do. Don't forget to clean the magnet off and re install.

This will sound real dumb, but is that another filter for the transmission besides the external which was replaced during the service?
